The club president welcomes a host of Bianconeri playing heroes to Juventus Stadium for the launch of an exciting new initiative

Andrea Agnelli this evening announced the club’s exciting new Juventus Legends project during a star-studded gathering at Juventus Stadium.

Familiar faces from the Bianconeri’s glorious 116-year history were out in force for the unveiling of an initiative which will see them act as club ambassadors around the world.

Their duties will include representing Juventus in showpiece fundraising fixtures - starting with Sunday night’s ‘Corazon Classic Match’ at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu - collaborating with the club’s official charity projects and passing on their invaluable knowledge to Bianconeri youth academy youngsters.

Tonight saw the likes of Roberto Bettega, Paolo Montero, Fabrizio Ravanelli, Sergio Brio, Franco Causio, Stefano Tacconi, Ciro Ferrara and Paolo Sousa reunite for a memorable reception in the stadium’s Club Agnelli suite.

Unveiling the project, Agnelli said: “It is my pleasure to present the Juventus Legends initiative. Juventus is only a legend thanks to you, the players, who have won wherever you’ve played, on every pitch.

“This has been something I’ve intended to launch ever since I became club president. When the invitation arrived from Real Madrid for the ‘Corazon Match’, we decided that now was the right moment to bring the project to life.”

“You will have a wide-ranging roles, it’s an initiative that will continue to develop. Who better to speak to the club’s youth players, fans and charities? You are the history of Juventus. Welcome home!”
