Juventus have officially confirmed their participation in this summer’s 13th edition of the TIM Trophy which is scheduled to take place on 23 July in Reggio Emilia.
After previously being held in Trieste, Milan, Ancona, Turin, Pescara and Bari, the friendly tournament heads back north this year and will be hosted by the Stadio Città del Tricolore.
Since its inception in 2001, the trophy has been contested between Juventus, Inter and Milan. However, for the first time ever, eight-time winners the Nerazzurri will not be taking part. Instead, Sassuolo will celebrate their historic promotion to Serie A by making up the numbers and hosting the tournament at their home ground.
The format of the day sees the three participating sides pitted against each other in a round-robin of 45 minute matches.
