A delegation of Juventus representatives will have the esteemed honour of being greeted in person by Pope Francis this afternoon in Rome.
Andrea Agnelli, Giuseppe Marotta, Aldo Mazzia, Antonio Conte and Gigi Buffon will cross the threshold of the Vatican and enjoy a private meeting with the head of the Catholic church.
The club has previously been guests of the Holy See, but this will be the first time it has been granted an intimate audience with the Pope.
On arriving in the capital, Antonio Conte and Giuseppe Marotta will meet the media and members from Juventus Club Rai.
The day will conclude with a celebratory supporters’ function - entitled ‘Amici della Juventus’ - at the city’s Domus Marie Palazzo Carpegna hotel.
