Juventus will participate in the prestigious Guinness International Champions Cup during the club’s Jeep US Tour 2013 in the United States, scheduled to take place between the end of July and the beginning of August.

Jeep, the Bianconeri’s Official Sponsor, is to play a key role throughout the team’s pre-season preparations, with a number of exciting special events lined up during the course of their stay Stateside.

In addition, Antonio Conte’s men will have the opportunity to put their hard graft to the test when they participate in the Guinness International Champions Cup, a friendly competition featuring some of the world’s most celebrated clubs.

The eight participating teams have been divided into West and East regions, with Juventus joining Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Everton in the West, while Chelsea, AC Milan, Valencia and Inter Milan do battle in the East.

The Bianconeri will make their tournament bow at the home of baseball side San Francisco Giants, AT&T Park, against Everton on Wednesday 31 July at 8pm local time. Their opponents for the following fixture, to be contested on Saturday 3 August at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, will be determined by the result against the Toffees and the outcome of LA Galaxy’s clash with Real Madrid in Phoenix, with the winners and losers to be pitted against each other.

The same formula is to be applied for teams from the West side of the draw, which sees AC Milan and Inter Milan open their tournament with games against Valencia and Chelsea respectively.

All eight clubs will then link up on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 August in Miami, where the city’s Sun Life Stadium is to play host to the final stages.

The victorious teams from both opening games will play for the tournament’s title, while the remaining sides will fight for third, fifth and seventh place finishes.

Precise dates for the club’s Jeep US Tour 2013 are to be released in the next few days.
