The Bianconeri switch their focus from Serie A to the Europa League as preparations get underway for Thursday night’s visit of the French Ligue 1 outfit

Fresh from restoring their eight-point advantage at the top of Serie A with last night’s victory over Livorno, Juventus launched their preparations for Thursday night’s Europa League return leg against Lyon in a lunchtime training session.

While the Bianconeri hold the advantage courtesy of Leonardo Bonucci’s late winner in last week’s first meeting at the Stade de Gerland, the slender margin and counter-attacking potential possessed by the French side mean the tie is far from over.

Having reiterated his desire to go all the way on both domestic and European fronts, Conte will be calling for maximum concentration from his men as he aims to guide them to a spot in this year’s semi-finals.

Today’s training session saw those involved in last night’s encounter with the Amaranto undergo a warm-down, while it was business as usual for the remainder of the squad.

The Bianconeri’s build-up will step up a gear tomorrow afternoon when they conduct their final preparations for the visit of Remi Garde’s men. Beforehand, Conte and Martin Caceres are to address the media from Juventus Center at 13.30 CET.

Meanwhile, Lyon’s pre-match focus begins with a press conference at Juventus Stadium from 17.20 onwards, to be followed shortly afterwards by a workout out on the hallowed turf.
