After lifting the Beppe Viola trophy on Tuesday, Ivano Della Morte’s youngsters are unable to follow it up with another victory as they suffer a 2-1 loss at home

Following a Beppe Viola cup run that saw them go all the way to the title on Tuesday, today presented the Allievi with their seventh fixture in fourteen days, and the busy schedule appeared to have taken its toll as the Bianconeri youngsters lost 2-1 to Ternana.

The visitors rose to a 2-0 lead in Vinovo, and although top scorer King Udoh gave Ivano Della Morte’s side a lifeline six minutes after the break, tired legs meant that in the end no equaliser arrived.

The Bianconeri remain on the heels of first-placed Genoa, who have a narrow lead in the league table ahead of contesting the Derby della Lanterna with Sampdoria.
