The Allievi Nazionali continued their onward march in the league championship this afternoon with their seventh win in eight games, this one perhaps the sweetest of the lot against reigning champions Parma.
It finished 3-1 in Chisola after the hosts made a spirited comeback through Federico Di Giovanni’s opener, a second from King Udoh and Luca Clemenza’s converted penalty.
It’s a win that means the Bianconeri retain top spot in the league with the derby against Torino still in hand, but it also has the sweet taste of revenge: heading towards Scudetto glory in the last campaign, the Juventus Allievi’s progress was cruelly halted in extra-time of the semi-final by the very team they have beaten this afternoon.
A double challenge now awaits Ivano Della Morte’s youngsters. On Friday 15 November they take on Genoa at home before the much-anticipated derby five days later on Wednesday 20 November.
