The Bianconeri launched their bid for the U17 Scudetto with a 3-2 win over Chievo in their opening group stage fixture. Genoa and Inter next up, on Thursday and Saturday

It's into the business end of the season for Ivano Della Morte's Allievi Nazionali as they chase their Scudetto dream. The Final Eight group stage got under way in Chianciano Terme today and Juventus Under-17s cleared the first hurdle, beating Chievo by three goals to two. Macek, Pellini and Udoh were among the goals.

There's no time to rest though because the next game is already less than 24 hours away. Della Morte's boys are back in action at 18:00 tomorrow against Genoa, who ended the regular season in second place behind the Bianconeri.

An Under-15s Derby d'Italia then awaits on Saturday, kick-off again at 18:00, when Juve take on Inter in their third and final group match.

The top two from each group qualify for Tuesday's semi-finals, when the last four will vie for a place in this year's Allievi Nazionali championship final, scheduled for Thursday 19 June.
