Juve’s Allievi side, coached by Ivano Della Morte, came to the end of the line in the Final Eight. The Bianconeri youngsters fell to AC Milan, coached by Omar Danesi, by a 2-3 scoreline.
The Bianconeri were behind when they entered the dressing room at half-time. Then in the second half the action picked up as Cutrone added another goal for the Rossoneri. However, Juve quickly made up for it by drawing level within eight minutes through Udoh and Macek. The winner then came from Meleleo while Della Morte’s boys were forced to play a man down after Parodi was shown his second yellow card.
When the other semi-final between Inter and Parma finished 4-4 after 120 minutes the Nerazzurri eventually triumphed on penalty kicks (9-8). The final, a Milan derby, will be played on Thursday 19 June in Montepulciano to award the Scudetto.
