The eight to twelve year-olds of the seven Juventus Soccer Schools around Italy have been on the field for some weeks now, but the return of the Juventus Primi Calci initiative this week means that JSS is back in full swing after the summer.
Juventus Primi Calci is one of the most important projects of JSS, and it finished the 2012/13 season with almost 600 youngsters signed up. Aimed specifically at five to seven-year-olds, its aim is to develop the technical and coordination skills of those taking part whilst also providing them with a rounded education.
In effect, it gives the children the chance to enjoy a unique sporting experience that puts them in contact with football from a young age.
So, seeing as good things come in threes, the great success of the previous two years has prompted JSS to embark on its third year with a new objective: to reach 700 members, thanks to the two new schools in the Turin area, Collegno and Venaria.
