Rossoblu boss Davide Ballardini calls for a complete performance from his side when they take on a Bianconeri outfit he recognises will be fired up to win in Turin tomorrow evening

Bologna manager Davide Ballardini has said his side will look to cause Juve problems in a game both parties have strong incentives to get the better of tomorrow evening at Juventus Stadium.

While Juve have a third consecutive Scudetto title in their sights, Bologna are aiming to escape the drop in 17th place.

But Ballardini believes his men should not go into the game expecting defeat, instead calling on them to put the gap between the sides in the league table aside and approach the clash with an attacking mentality.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Rossoblu boss began: “We have plenty of motivation, but so do they. Juve’s great strength lies precisely in the fact that they’re always driven and focused. And playing at that stadium will give the game a different atmosphere.”

It’s a ground where Ballardini knows what’s required, having come away with a point on both previous occasions he’s faced Antonio Conte’s Bianconeri there in the past.

“We know that we’ll have to be on our mettle in defence, but in Turin you can’t concern yourself with just doing one thing well. We’ll also need to move the ball around and cause them some problems.

“We’re out to give the best possible account of ourselves tomorrow night: let’s believe we can do it and not sell ourselves short.”
