Having clocked up their 30th Serie A win of the season last night against Sassuolo, Juve’s attentions turn to the Europa League in today’s training session

After seeing off Sassuolo in their 30th win from 35 Serie A games yesterday, Thursday’s Europa League semi-final decider against Benfica has now taken centre stage for the Bianconeri in training today.

Antonio Conte’s men will have to score at least a goal if they are to reach the final on 14 May following last week’s 2-1 defeat at the Estadio da Luz.

But they’ll have the force of the Juventus Stadium crowd behind them this time, and will be ensuring they’re as well prepared as possible for the clash by putting in the work on the Vinovo training pitch.

The endeavour began today with a warm-down session for those involved in last night’s outing at the Mapei Stadium, while the Juve boss had planned a workout based on both fitness and technical drills for the remainder of the group.

Tomorrow, the squad will carry out their finishing touches for the following day’s European fixture during a 15.00 CET training session in Vinovo, the first 15 minutes of which will be open to the media.

At 19.00, Conte and Giorgio Chiellini will address journalists in a press conference at Juventus Stadium.

For Benfica’s part, Jorge Jesus’ men will be training at Juve’s home ground in a session starting at 18.30 after their news conference at 18.00.
