Twelve first-team players will represent their respective countries in tonight’s international friendlies. Juventus.com takes a look at who’s playing and where

With club duties set to resume with Sunday’s mouthwatering Super Cup final clash against Lazio in Rome, 12 Bianconeri stars are currently focusing all their efforts on lifting their respective nations to victory in tonight’s international fixtures.

The lion’s share of this evening’s attention will be centred on the capital’s Stadio Olimpico, where Cesare Prandelli’s Azzurri are set to lock horns with Argentina.

The 55-year-old tactician will have Gigi Buffon, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Claudio Marchisio and Andrea Pirlo at his disposal for the encounter. Missing out, however, is Andrea Barzagli, who returned to Turin yesterday.

Of the remaining seven players, only Stephan Lichtsteiner’s Switzerland will be playing on home soil, welcoming Brazil to St. Jakob Park in Basel.

Elsewhere, Fernando Llorente’s Spain travel to Ecuador, Mirko Vucinic’s Montenegro face Belarus, Martin Caceres’ Uruguay line up against Japan, Kwadwo Asamoah’s Ghana pit their wits against Turkey and Mauricio Isla and Arturo Vidal’s Chile take on Iran.
