The Bianconeri continued to work towards their return to Serie A action by contesting a friendly encounter with Serie D outfit Asti this afternoon.
Antonio Conte’s side, which included several Primavera youngsters, emerged victorious by a 7-0 scoreline, largely thanks to the sharp shooting of a three-pronged attack. Fabio Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic each bagged a brace, while Sebastian Giovinco also weighed in with a strike of his own. Goals from Marco Motta and Simone Padoin completed the rout.
The team will return to their preparations tomorrow morning, with Arturo Vidal scheduled to link up with his team-mates at Juventus Center after making an early return from international duty. The Chilean is still feeling the effects of an injury sustained against Napoli and will therefore continue his rehabilitation in Turin.
