Antonio Conte heaped praise on his “extraordinary players” following this evening’s emphatic 3-0 win over Scudetto rivals Napoli at Juventus Stadium.
The manager believes his team tackled an imposing obstacle with plenty of relish and were full value for the three points and second position up for grabs.
Speaking to the media in Turin, the 44-year-old remarked: “We played a great team in Napoli tonight. They will join us, Roma, Fiorentina and Inter in fighting all the way for this year’s Scudetto crown. My lads were extraordinary, put in an excellent performance and emerged victorious in every aspect of this evening’s game.
“I’ve heard people say that Llorente may have been a couple of centimeters offside when he scored the first goal, but coming out with things like that on a night when Napoli’s best player was Reina upsets me. I feel it’s trying to take the shine off our great display.”
