After yesterday’s post-match recuperation time, Antonio Conte today summoned the Juventus squad to the Vinovo training pitch to launch preparations for their league meeting with Bologna away at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
The encounter falls earlier in the week than usual, with kick-off set for 20.45 CET on Friday, so Conte had no time to waste in attempting to ensure his men are fully prepared when they walk out onto the pitch under the imposing presence of the Torre di Maratone, the symbol of Bologna’s home ground.
While Juventus will be trying to keep their noses out in front at the top of Serie A, it’s a somewhat different story for the Rossoblu, who will be looking to pull away from the pack at the lower end of the league table.
Stefano Pioli’s men are in 17th position, neck and neck on points with Chievo Verona (who are one place ahead of them) and Livorno (who are one below).
Tomorrow, Wednesday 4 December, will feature another morning session as preparations continue.
