Antonio Conte celebrated crossing the 100 victory barrier as Juventus manager with tonight’s success over Atalanta, and was quick to pay tribute to the “extraordinary” players who have enabled him to win his third successive title.
Speaking after the final whistle at Juventus Stadium, the 44-year-old said: “We’ve earned a total of 267 points in my three years and there are still two games to go. It would be hard to better what we’ve done so far.
“This is an extraordinary group of lads. These have been intense campaigns and I can only thank each and every one of them for what they’ve given me.
“Yesterday they asked me if they could go out for dinner and celebrate, but today they were there on the pitch with the usual will and desire to win.”
