FC Copenhagen match fellow Champions League Group B team Galatasaray in progressing to the next round of their domestic cup, reaching the semi-finals through a 2-1 win over Lyngby

Not to be outdone by the penalty-shootout win pulled off by upcoming Juve opponent Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup on Tuesday, fellow Champions League Group B outfit FC Copenhagen ensured passage into the semi-final of their domestic cup with a 2-1 win away at Lyngby yesterday.

Stale Solbakken’s men came back from a goal behind to keep their cup dreams alive, with Thomas Kristensen and Pierre Bengtsson on the scoresheet.

On Saturday evening it will be Real Madrid’s turn, with Los Blancos travelling to take on Olimpic Xativa away from home in the Copa del Rey.
