After enjoying a well-earned day of rest in the wake of Sunday’s 3-1 win over Inter at Juventus Stadium, Antonio Conte’s men kicked off their working week with two training sessions.
Having stretched their lead at the summit of Serie A to nine points with last weekend’s success, the Bianconeri will go in search of a seasonal double over Hellas Verona when they line up at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi on Sunday afternoon.
This morning’s preparations consisted of a warm-up and several athletic exercises, followed by work on ball possession and control.
The afternoon brought further focus on fitness, with the team carrying out shuttle runs over both short and long distances as they aim to approach the showdown with Andrea Mandorlini’s charges in optimal physical condition.
Ball work is expected to return to the fore when the Bianconeri assemble for their second day of training tomorrow morning.
