The Swedish referee will preside over the Bianconeri for the second time in his career after overseeing last December’s win over Shakhtar in Donetsk

Swedish referee Jonas Eriksson will take charge of Wednesday night’s Champions League Group B clash with FC Copenhagen at Juventus Stadium.

It will be the 39-year-old’s second occasion overseeing the Bianconeri after previously presiding over last December’s 1-0 win against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Donbass Arena.

He was also tasked with officiating Italy’s 2-1 win over the Czech Republic at Juventus Stadium which sealed the Azzurri’s safe passage through to next summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

On Wednesday night in Turin, Eriksson will be assisted by Mathias Klasenius and Daniel Warnmark. The fourth official has been named as Mehmet Culum, while the goal-line referees will be Stefan Johannesson and Markus Strombergsson.
