Four Juventus players featured in Italy's training match with Brazilian outfit Fluminense at the Estadio da Cidadania last night. All five Azzurri goals came from former Pescara strike duo Immobile and Insigne. Ciro grabbed himself a hat-trick either side of half time, while Lorenzo notched the first and fifth goals.
Italy coach Cesare Prandelli made a string of changes in the 63rd minute with four Bianconeri coming on, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio replacing Gabriel Paletta, Andrea Ranocchia, Alberto Aquilani and Alessio Cerci respectively.
The fifth Bianconeri player in action yesterday was Paul Pogba as France took on Jamaica in what turned out to be a veritable goalfest. The team coached by ex-Juve man Didier Deschamps put eight past the Caribbean side. Cabaye (17), Matuidi (20), Benzema (37), Giroud (53), Benzema (63), and Matuidi (66) steered Les Bleus into a 6-0 lead, before Pogba was brought on for Matuidi and took his place on the left of midfield. Griezmann then added a late brace to complete the rout.
