A lethal display of sharp shooting in Tuscany lifts Andrea Zanchetta’s youngsters to this afternoon’s 4-1 success

The Primavera made a sensational start to the new year with this afternoon’s 4-1 away triumph over Siena in Tuscany.

Andrea Zanchetta’s side shot out of the traps with plenty of poise and purpose and commanded a two-goal lead by the halfway stage, Anastasios Donis and Matteo Gerbaudo on target inside the opening 25 minutes.

Donis, who netted the winner in the Bianconeri’s September Super Cup success over Lazio, maintained his killer touch in the penalty area with a third just seconds after the restart, while Alhassane Souma’s strike with 15 minutes remaining ensured Giovanni Mucci’s goal served as a mere consolation.

The result lifts Juventus on to 24 points ahead of next Saturday’s clash with Piedmont rivals Novara.
