    From one cup to another for the Primavera

    With the Super Cup recently added to the Primavera’s trophy cabinet, the youngsters will now turn their attentions to conquering the Youth League, beginning with Wednesday’s home debut against Galatasaray in Ivrea

    After a glorious triumph in the Super Cup against Lazio on Thursday and a gutsy 2-1 win against Genoa in the league yesterday, the Primavera youngsters’ tough week of competing in three different competitions will reach its culmination on Wednesday 2 October in their first home Youth League fixture against Galatasaray.

    Following the misfortune of conceding a last gasp, 93rd minute penalty equaliser in Copenhagen, Juventus will be looking for a first victory in the competition when they take on Galatasaray at 15.00 CET. The Turks are also on one point after drawing at home with Real Madrid in their last game.

    The Juve youngsters will be playing for the first time at Ivrea's 4,000 capacity Il Pistoni stadium, a ground that befits the importance of the occasion.

    Tickets for the game will be available on the day from 11.00 CET at the stadium’s ticket office, with a choice of a seat in the covered stand at 12 Euros or a seat in the uncovered one at 8 Euros. Children under 12 can enter free of charge.

    Access for journalists, photographers and TV crews will be granted according to the usual procedure for a league game (see info). Therefore, it will be necessary to send an entry request to fax number 011 4407461 or to email address media.accreditation@juventus.com no later than 24.00 CET today, Monday 30 September. Those requests which are not sent before that time or which don’t meet the requirements will not be accepted.
