The Giovanissimi Nazionali made it nine wins in a row with this afternoon’s sensational 7-0 victory over Cuneo at Juventus Center in Vinovo.
After breezing past Piedmont rivals Pro Vercelli by a comfortable three-goal margin last weekend, Claudio Gabetta’s side continued to flourish in the final third and treated the watching crowd to an afternoon to remember.
In the driving afternoon rain, Juventus established a healthy 3-0 advantage by the break through Simone Mancini, Gabriele Galtarossa and a Matteo Guglielmet own goal.
Further damage was inflicted on the opposition rearguard following the restart, with Massimo Goh netting a hat-trick and Mancini sealing his brace.
The success consolidates the Bianconeri’s lofty standing at the summit of the league and will serve as a useful confidence boost ahead of next Sunday’s testing encounter against Piedmont neighbours Novara.
