The Rome-born defender will celebrate his special day alongside his team-mates in Vinovo as Juventus gear up for tomorrow’s clash in the capital against Roma

After Claudio Marchisio celebrated his 28th birthday alongside team-mates in Vinovo yesterday, today brings the turn of defender Federico Peluso, who turns 30.

The Rome-born player, who joined the Bianconeri just over a year ago from fellow Serie A side Atalanta, has proved a useful resource for Antonio Conte, turning in reliable performances in Serie A and Champions League fixtures whenever called upon.

Capable of operating either as a wing-back or as part of the back three, Peluso, who has three Azzurri caps to his name, has also made his presence felt in the opposition box this season, towering highest to plant Carlos Tevez’s free-kick beyond Sassuolo goalkeeper Gianluca Pegolo in December's 4-0 win at Juventus Stadium.

All associated with Juventus Football Club wish Federico many happy returns.
