Paul Pogba’s France play the first leg of their play-off against Ukraine, the six Italians take on Germany and Mauricio Isla’s Chile travel to Wembley for a friendly against England. Fernando Llorente, meanwhile, is in the Spain squad to face Equatorial Guinea tomorrow

All three of the fixtures set to feature a total of eight Juventus players tonight are intriguing propositions, starting with an important test for Paul Pogba’s France at 20.45 CET in the first leg of their World Cup qualifying play-off against Ukraine.

It’s a tricky tie, especially seeing as Les Bleus have to start it in Kiev. Mykhaylo Fomenko’s men kept pace with England right until the end in Group H, losing just a single game in qualifying, and Didier Deschamps can be sure that they won't be easy to overcome.

In action at the same time is the six-strong group of Bianconeri in the Italy squad to face Germany, a repeat of the Euro 2012 semi-final that the Azzurri won to set up a final with Spain.

There is less riding on it this time around as the match is just a friendly, but Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Gigi Buffon, Claudio Marchisio, Angelo Ogbonna and Andrea Pirlo will be up against a very talented side when they kick off at 20.45 CET in Milan.

The Bianconeri man concluding the night’s entertainment will be Mauricio Isla, whose Chile side face England at Wembley in another interesting friendly at 21.00 CET. Arturo Vidal was set to be involved too, but the midfielder is still feeling the effects of an injury sustained against Napoli and is now continuing his rehabilitation in Turin.

Both sides have sealed automatic qualification for the 2014 World Cup, so the encounter will provide an important opportunity to put battle plans to the test ahead of next year’s greatest show on earth.

Tomorrow will also see a Juve player involved in international action, because Fernando Llorente has been called up by Vicente Del Bosque for Spain’s match away at Equatorial Guinea getting underway at 22.00 CET. The striker’s good form for the Bianconeri has been recognised, and he will now be hoping to replicate it on the world stage.
