Following last year’s resounding success, the Juventus Soccer Schools initiative will return to Belgium and Luxembourg in 2014.
A total of Italian 20 coaches, who have reinforced their knowledge in technical meetings with Antonio Conte, will lead training camps in the cities of Forest, Gosselies, Pâtirages, Andenne, Seraing, Dison, La Louvière and Wiltz between 7 and 11 April.
The project was revealed throughout the course of two separate press conferences, held on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 January in Belgium and Luxembourg respectively.
Joining JSS manager Marco Isnardi and head coach Davide Fornaca for the grand unveiling was former Bianconeri midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi, who spoke at length about the values and methods he experienced at first hand during his illustrious 13-year spell in the black and white stripes.
Outlining the project’s aims, the 38-year-old said: “The problem in Italian football is the lack of generational reciprocation. Juventus is already doing a great deal in Italy at academy school level. However, it also wants to spread its name throughout Europe and the rest of the world where the Juve brand is already renowned.”
