The Bianconeri CEO discusses Paul Pogba, this year’s Scudetto race and the team’s arrival at the Stadio Angelo Massimino

Pogba will postpone all talks about his future until the summer. Do the fans need to be concerned?

“The fans don’t need to be concerned in the slightest. The quotes were made while he was on international duty with France, around the time of 5-6 March. He simply said – and the translation hasn’t conveyed the correct meaning – that he would prefer not to speak about Juventus-related matters and instead focus on them by giving his all from now until the end of the season.”

Catania, Parma and Napoli: is this the week to end the title race and focus on Europe?

“No, absolutely not. This Scudetto clearly matters a great deal to us, but there are many games to play and above all plenty of hurdles to overcome, starting with tonight. We’re up against a team who are bottom of the table, but they will play the game of their lives, both for their current standing and the fact that they’re up against Juventus. Teams are always highly motivated when facing us and we need to remain on full alert.”

What happened when you were arriving at the stadium? There were moments of fear and tension…

“I’m speaking with a smile on my face now, but I must say that these barbaric acts that are no good for our game. We came through it unharmed though and we’ll now focus on tonight’s show.”
