Paul Pogba believes Juventus were impressive in tonight’s 2-2 draw with Real Madrid and says the team should show more of the same in their two remaining Champions League fixtures.
The Frenchman was instrumental in winning the first-half penalty that Arturo Vidal converted with aplomb and the incident was one of the first subjects on the agenda when he met the media following the final whistle in Turin.
The 20-year-old said: “We put in a strong performance, especially in the first half. As far as the penalty’s concerned, I saw Varane slide in, managed to move the ball and he went through me. Copenhagen’s victory means we’re still in the running, but we must only think about ourselves. We’re a great team and we need to show our strength.”
