Nicola Rizzoli will take charge of Sunday afternoon’s Serie A clash between Fiorentina and Juventus at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.
The Mirandola-born referee is to officiate the Bianconeri for the 24th time in his career, having previously presided over nine wins, five draws and nine defeats.
Two of these past encounters have been against this weekend’s opponents Fiorentina, both of which ended 1-1. In 2007, goals from Vincenzo Iaquinta and Adrian Mutu ensured a share of the spoils, while two years later, Juan Manuel Vargas and Amauri were on target as both sides again settled for a point apiece.
On Sunday afternoon, Rizzoli will be assisted by Riccardo Di Fiore and Andrea Stefani. Giulio Dobosz has been named as the fourth official.
