Juventus Stadium is readying itself for a unique Sunday evening, with 9,500 children from primary and secondary schools set to pack out its north and south stands for the club’s ‘Gioca Con Me… Tifa Con Me’ (Play With Me, Support With Me) project, supported by UNESCO’s Italian National Commission.
The sporting spectacle is to be enriched by several initiatives scheduled for both matchday and beyond, beginning with the jewel in the club’s full stadium experience, Juventus Museum.
All children in possession of a ticket for the match with Udinese will be granted free access to the historic attraction between Sunday 1 and Sunday 8 December.
They will also be able to enjoy free transportation to the stadium thanks to the Comune di Torino and GTT, who have agreed to ferry children to and from the Bianconeri’s home through public services.
For the meeting with the Zebrette, students attending primary and secondary schools will be housed in the north stand, while youngsters from the region’s soccer schools are to enjoy the action in the opposite end.
Thirteen entertainers will be present to welcome the young supporters and encourage them to colour and sign various banners to be displayed during the 90 minutes.
An educational aspect will also be on offer throughout the occasion. In the north stand, 30 budding talents from the club’s youth academy will don fluorescent jackets and shadow a team of stewards in order to learn more about the necessity of safety and security on matchdays.
Over in the stadium’s conference suites, 60 youngsters are to participate in a workshop organised by the AIC. The seminar, featuring the precious contributions of Fabio Grosso and Mariella Scirea, will elaborate on the reasons behind the original closure of the club’s north and south stands and explain the importance of correct behaviour and tolerance in society.
The evening’s activities will draw to a close with the completion of a 20 metre-long banner. This will accompany both teams out of the tunnel while flags bearing the project’s slogan - ‘Gioca Con Me… Tifa Con Me’ - wave high into the night’s sky.
Juventus Football Club wishes to express its sincere thanks to the FIGC, Serie A, Osservatorio Nazionale sulle Manifestazioni Sportive, Questura di Torino, Associazione Italiana Calciatori, Ufficio Regionale Scolastico, Comitato Regionale Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta FIGC LND, Comune di Torino and GTT for their cooperation in making this initiative possible.
