Paolo Tagliavento will take charge of Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia quarter-final encounter between Roma and Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Umbrian official has overseen the Bianconeri on 19 previous occasions, with tomorrow’s visitors possessing a record of seven wins, five draws and seven defeats under his stewardship.
Most recently Tagliavento has presided over a resounding 4-1 win over Lazio in the second Serie A fixture of the season, Juventus’ first home game of the campaign.
His one and only Coppa Italia game in charge of the Bianconeri produced a defeat at the hands of Lazio in March 2009, when goals from Goran Pandev and Tommaso Rocchi helped the hosts to a 2-1 victory.
The 41-year-old will be assisted in the capital by Tonolini and Manganelli, while Rocchi has been appointed as fourth official.
