The nine Primavera players training in Val d’Aosta describe their incredible experience so far to the three Juventus Members sharing the stage with them in the Juventus Summer Village

The Bianconeri youngsters called up from the Primavera to join the first team squad at their pre-season training camp described their excitement at playing in front of a rapturous crowd when they took their turn in the spotlight on the Juventus Summer Village stage this evening.

Simone Emmanuello conveyed his joy at being cheered on by the hundreds of Juve fans in the stands at the Stadio Brunod.

"It's magnificent. Being on the field surrounded by all these fans gives you a completely different feeling, there's strong enthusiasm from everyone. I'm very excited."

Federico Mattiello admitted that they found the step up to playing with the world class stars in the first team a little difficult at first, but said that they have soon become accustomed to it.

“At the beginning it was quite tiring because you really felt the difference: as soon as you receive the ball, they’re onto you so fast that they dispossess you without you even realising it. Now, though, were getting more used to the pace.”

But there will be no rest for the youngsters after the team leave Chatillon, because the Primavera depart for their own pre-season tour soon afterwards.  Joel Untersee praised this strategy, though, echoing the words of the boss Antonio Conte when he stated his belief in hard work as the way to gain success in the 2013/14 campaign.

“It is tiring, but it’s the right way to go about things because we want to keep winning this season.”
