Massimiliano Allegri says his side have surpassed all expectations this term as he comes towards the conclusion of his first campaign in the Juventus dugout.

The 47-year-old, who led the Bianconeri to their fourth consecutive Serie A title earlier this month, doesn’t want to stop there though as he eyes glory in both the Coppa Italia and Champions League finals.

Speaking to Jtv’s Laura Barriales, Allegri began by praising everyone associated with the ongoing success at the club, both on and off the field.

.@OfficialAllegri: "The club, players and staff will all go down in history for these last four years."

Juventus have faced many challenges over the course of the season, managing to overcome the majority, and one particular encounter earlier on this year stuck in the Tuscan tactician’s mind with regards to its importance.

.@OfficialAllegri: "One of our most important games this term? January's victory away at Napoli because we showed strength and character."

After the Bianconeri booked their place in this year’s Champions League final on Wednesday, all eyes of Serie A will be on tonight’s Europa League semi-finals involving Fiorentina and Napoli.

And Allegri believes that if the duo were to progress at the expense of their respective opponents and make it an all-Italian final, it would only strengthen the top flight further.

.@OfficialAllegri: "I hope the other two @SerieA_TIM sides make the #UEL final. It would be great for Italian football."

Looking further afield, the boss provided a quick word on Barcelona, the side who stand in the Old Lady’s way from a third triumph in Europe’s elite competition.

.@OfficialAllegri: "We can beat @FCBarcelona in a one-off match, but over two legs it'd be more difficult."
