Asamoah medical update as derby day beckons

The Bianconeri stepped up their preparations for Sunday’s Derby della Mole meeting against Torino during this morning’s workout, with Massimiliano Allegri welcoming back a full group for a predominantly tactical session in the driving Vinovo rain.

Missing out on today’s session was Kwadwo Asamoah, who will fly to Barcelona next Tuesday for arthroscopic surgery to repair cartilage in his left knee after reporting continued pain in the region. The operation will be performed by Dr. Ramon Cugat in Barcelona.

Allegri will look ahead to his first ever Turin derby encounter when he meets the media during a press conference scheduled for midday CET tomorrow.
