It’s been 11 days since the full-time whistle from the Bianconeri’s 3-2 win over Roma signalled the start of Juventus’ international commitments.

Fast forward to Wednesday evening and Kwadwo Asamoah was the last remaining member of Massimiliano Allegri’s outfit still serving his country on international duty.

In yesterday’s 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifier played in Tamale, the 25-year-old played the entire 90 minutes as his Ghana side overcame Guinea 3-1 to extend their lead at the summit of Group E to two points.

Captain Asamoah Gyan got the ball rolling as he put the hosts in front shortly after the quarter hour mark. But back came the visitors who equalised through Ibrahim Yattara’s strike ten minutes before the break.

However, the Black Stars once again got their noses in front thanks to Andre Ayew’s spot-kick thirteen minutes into the second-half before Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scored deep into stoppage time to wrap up the points.

Asamoah will link up with the rest of his Bianconeri team-mates at Vinovo later today as preparations for Saturday’s Serie A encounter with Sassuolo intensify.
