In a tightly-contested encounter, Claudio Gabetta’s side overcome Sampdoria 2-1 in Genoa earlier this afternoon.

Following last week’s disappointing home defeat to Genoa, Claudio Gabetta’s young guns got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-1 victory away at Sampdoria earlier this afternoon.

After a goalless first half, Michel Martino gave the visitors the lead five minutes after the restart before Genoa equalised through Davide Drago nine minutes later.

But it was to be Juventus who stole all three points thanks to Alessandro Lombardi's finish with 12 minutes remaining on the referee’s watch.

The Giovanissimi Nazionali league will now serve a brief break with the Bianconeri back in action on Sunday 14 December when they host Novara.
