The 41-year-old has been named referee for Saturday evening’s Serie A clash with the Partenopei at Juventus Stadium

Luca Banti has been named referee for Saturday evening’s Serie A clash between the Bianconeri and Napoli at Juventus Stadium.

The 41-year-old is to take charge of his 23rd encounter involving the Old Lady in all competitions, with the club’s record under his tutelage currently standing at 15 victories, four draws and three defeats.

Banti, who hails from Livorno in Tuscany, is making his second trip to the home of the newly-crowned champions in as many months after running the rule over April’s 3-2 home success against Fiorentina.

He’ll be flanked in Turin by assistant referees Filippo Meli and Gianluca Vuoto, goal-line officials Andrea Gervasoni and Marco Di Bello and fourth official Andrea Edoardo Stefani.
