The Bianconeri’s upcoming Champions League opponents will warm up for Wednesday’s last 16 return tie with a home game against 11th-placed Cologne

Borussia Dortmund will warm up for Wednesday night’s decisive Champions League last 16 return leg against Juventus by entertaining Cologne on Saturday evening at the Westfalenstadion.

Jurgen Klopp’s men approach the encounter on a five-match unbeaten run, with a streak of four successive wins brought to a halt by a goalless draw at Hamburg last time out.

They will therefore be hopeful of resuming their winning stride and potentially climbing into the top half of the table when they welcome a Cologne side just one point and place below them in the Bundesliga standings.

The visitors, managed by Peter Stoger, have enjoyed a solid if unspectacular return to the top flight after gaining promotion last year, and will be aiming to pull off a rare double over Dortmund following September’s 2-1 triumph on home soil in October.
