The Bianconeri resumed their build-up to Sunday’s Serie A clash with Cesena during this morning’s training session played out in glorious February sunshine at Juventus Center.
Tactical work has been coming increasingly to the fore as Massimiliano Allegri aims to guide his men to what would be another crucial three points in the club’s quest for a fourth consecutive Scudetto title.
And with the Cavallucci Marini fighting for their lives in 19th position, Juventus know they will have to approach the game with the correct mindset if they are to avoid any slip-ups in Emilia-Romagna.
With this in mind, the league leaders tackled possession exercises and moving the ball around as a unit before putting their drills to the test in a practice match.
Present on the training ground but missing from the main group were Martin Caceres, Alessandro Matri and Romulo, who worked separately, while Andrea Barzagli will enjoy a run out this afternoon during a Primavera friendly match.
Carlos Tevez, suspended for the clash at the Dino Manuzzi, is to conduct an individual training regime until Sunday, with his return to the main squad scheduled for Monday.
Tomorrow will see the Bianconeri raise the intensity of their preparations during another morning workout.
