Damato to referee Lazio encounter

Antonio Damato has been named referee for the Bianconeri’s visit to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday evening.

The 40-year-old, born in Puglia, is to preside over his seventeenth Juventus encounter in Italy’s top flight, having previously overseen 12 victories (including September’s 2-0 win over Udinese in Turin), a draw and three defeats.

He has already run the rule over a league meeting involving this weekend's opponents, the Old Lady’s 2-1 success at Juventus Stadium in April 2012.

In Saturday’s late kick-off, Damato will be flanked by assistant referees Padovan and Bianchi, goal-line officials Tagliavento and Irrati and fourth official Musolino.
