Following the precedent set by both the Primavera and Giovanissimi Nazionali against Juventus' arch-rivals in recent weeks, Felice Tufano’s Allievi Nazionali beat Torino 3-1 during today’s Derby della Mole encounter in Vinovo.
Currently riding high at the summit of domestic standings, the Bianconeri raced into a 2-0 lead at the break thanks to strikes at either end of the half from Carlo Manicone and Fabio Morselli.
Simone Auriletto halved the deficit five minutes after the restart but Simone Muratore reestablished the hosts two-goal cushion and earned all three points with a finish 12 minutes from the end.
The result sees Tufano’s troops reach 30 points for the season and further tighten their grip on top spot ahead of both Empoli and Fiorentina.
Next up for the Allievi Nazionali is a trip to Liguria where they face Sampdoria on Sunday 7 December.
