Daniele Doveri has been named referee for Saturday evening’s Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus at the San Siro.

The 37-year-old is to take charge of his fifth Bianconeri encounter in Serie A, with the club’s record under his tutelage currently standing at two victories and two draws.

Doveri, who hails from Volterra, has already overseen one fixture involving the Old Lady in this season’s top flight: December’s 1-1 stalemate with Sampdoria at Juventus Stadium.

He’ll be flanked in Milan by assistant referees Gianluca Cariolato and Andrea Marzaloni, goal-line officials Paolo Valeri and Gianpaolo Calvarese and fourth official Elenito Giovanni Di Liberatore.
