The Giovanissimi Nazionali ramped up the pressure on table-topping Genoa with a dazzling performance in today’s 5-0 romp over second bottom Savona in Liguria.

Claudio Gabetta’s troops went ahead on 25 minutes when Gianluca Sbordone struck before the youngster completed his hat-trick thanks to two strikes in as many second-half minutes.

Further gloss was added to the scoreline late on as both Matteo Colla and substitute Christian Alessandria stamped their mark on proceedings. Today’s result keeps Juventus four points behind the Rossoblu at the summit of the league standings.

Next up for Gabetta’s Giovanissimi Nazionali is a home fixture against fifth-placed Spezia on Sunday 29 March.
