    Claudio Gabetta’s youngsters breeze past Ternana with a last 32 first-leg triumph on the road

    The Giovanissimi Nazionali launched this season’s playoff campaign in style with today’s scintillating 4-0 last 32 first-leg victory over Ternana away from home.

    A fine right-footed strike from Kean Bioty got the ball rolling on 10 minutes, with Mattia Pessot heading home from a corner to put the Bianconeri in cruise control shortly before half time.

    Two became three within five minutes of the restart when Gianluca Sbordone kept his cool to beat the onrushing Ternana goalkeeper, while Thomas Quaranta capped off a good day at the office for Claudio Gabetta’s youngsters with 15 minutes remaining.
