The Giovanissimi Nazionali made it three league victories on the bounce with this afternoon’s 1-0 away success over midtable Pro Vercelli in Piedmont.

Determined to keep pace with a high-flying Genoa outfit at the summit of the domestic standings, Claudio Gabetta’s second-placed charges produced an accomplished performance on the road as Alessandro Lombardi’s solitary strike after 28 minutes ensured they would return to Turin with all three points.
