After arriving to an excellent reception last night at around 22.00 local time, Massimiliano Allegri’s players have this morning undertaken their first training session in Jakarta.
Interval training was held in Jakarta’s impressive 88,000 seater Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, the venue for the Old Lady’s first friendly where they will face the ISL Stars on Wednesday evening.
With the new season just over three weeks away, this morning’s session began in earnest with the Juventus players entering the field at 11.00 local time. After taking in their surroundings and conducting a thorough warm-up, Allegri’s backroom staff and the Bianconeri commenced interval training drills over varying distances.
When the Serie A champions return for their afternoon session later today, ball work will take centre stage in front of the adoring Indonesian fans. If yesterday’s welcome is anything to go by, the Bianconeri will be expecting a rapturous atmosphere once more when they take to the pitch.
