After crowning this season’s home debut at Juventus Stadium with a 2-0 win over Udinese, the Bianconeri were back at their Vinovo training base bright and early this morning to look ahead to Tuesday’s Champions League Group A bow against Malmo.
The reigning champions of Sweden, who currently top the Allsvenskan by five points, travel to Turin in good spirits after overturning a two-goal deficit to draw 3-3 away at Hacken yesterday lunchtime and will be looking to upset the odds in Turin.
Allegri is therefore leaving no stone unturned in his bid to get the Bianconeri’s Champions League campaign off to a winning start and welcomed his players back to the training ground just hours after last night’s victory.
Those who featured against the Zebrette conducted a warm-down, while it was business as usual for the remainder of the squad in September sunshine.
The finishing touches to the team’s game plan will be applied during tomorrow afternoon’s training session in Vinovo at 16.30 CET. The first 15 minutes are open to the media who will meet Allegri and Giorgio Chiellini for a pre-match press conference an hour beforehand.
Malmo’s preparations, on the other hand, are to be conducted at Juventus Stadium, where their training session will begin half an hour after their 18.00 news conference.
