The Bianconeri returned to Vinovo bright and early this morning to begin preparations for Wednesday’s Champions League Group A meeting with Olympiacos in Greece.
Those who featured in last night’s 1-1 draw with Sassuolo in Reggio Emilia underwent a warm-down in the gym, while it was business as usual for the remainder of the squad in an open session at the club’s Juventus Center training complex.
Under the watchful eyes of Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, Fabio Paratici and over 250 fans housed in the stand overlooking the training pitch, Massimiliano Allegri’s men underwent a long and thorough workout, focusing largely on play in the final third.
Passing, crossing and finishing drills then gave way to a six-a-side practice match contested on a reduced surface. Arturo Vidal hit six of the winning team’s 10, while Alvaro Morata weighed in with three of the opposition’s eight.
Once the match was complete, Juventus went back to sharpening up their technique in front of goal before heading over to thank the fans with autographs and photos.
The Bianconeri will return to training on Monday afternoon.
