      Carlos Tevez’s 25th goal in all competitions puts the wheels in motion as the Bianconeri extend their unbeaten Serie A home run to 43 matches

      The Bianconeri racked up their fourth consecutive victory without conceding with last night’s 2-0 triumph over Empoli, a result that brings an end to the visitors’ unbeaten run of eight games.

      Carlos Tevez, a menace to the Azzurri rearguard throughout the affair, got the ball rolling towards the end of the first half with his 25th goal of the season in all competitions, while fellow countryman Roberto Pereyra made sure of the points in the dying stages by netting his second of the 2014/15 Serie A campaign.

      The result extends the team’s unbeaten Serie A run on home soil to 43 matches, while it has been 20 overall games since they last tasted defeat in the championship.
